Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat various otolaryngological conditions Perform surgical procedures as necessary Develop and implement patient treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Stay current with advancements in otolaryngology Educate patients and their families on treatment options

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida Completion of residency in Otolaryngology Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to continuous professional development Prior experience in a locum or contract role is a plus

Level II Trauma

Schedule: 8a-8a beeper call, specific dates

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 5-6 consults

Duties: ED cases, performing procedures, rounding on post-ops and inpatients, and consults as needed

Must be comfortable with facial trauma, including mandibles, orbital floors, and lid lacerations

Must be able to work independently

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
