Responsibilities
Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients in a PCU/IMCU setting.
Monitor for acute conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, and CKD; implement appropriate interventions.
Administer medications and therapies, including heparin drips, per physician orders; adjust plans based on response and protocol.
Perform ongoing patient assessments, interpret data, escalate concerns, and collaborate with the medical team to optimize outcomes.
Document care activities accurately in the medical record and ensure adherence to unit protocols and safety standards.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a critical care or intermediate care setting (e.g., IMCU/PCU)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to work the 2x4 Night shift and adapt to a travel assignment
