The Radiology Technologist performs radiologic exams and procedures while ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality. They are responsible for the safe operation of radiologic equipment and must maintain current knowledge of the equipment used.
Candidates must have 2 years of clinical training in an AMA approved program and hold an American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification along with a current Louisiana Registered Radiologic license. New graduates are also eligible if they meet the licensing requirements.
Performs radiologic exams and procedures. Provides patient privacy and confidentiality. Ensures patient care is performed in an efficient manner, meeting standards consistent with infection control policies and OLOLRMC Standards for Service Excellence. Responsible for the safe operation of radiologic equipment utilized in patient care and maintains current knowledge of the operation of any equipment used.
