Summary of duties
Under the supervision of the Program Director/Administrator or Island Director, the Clinical Specialist I is responsible for implementing program services for the DVSF Domestic Violence Safe Families program. This role integrates assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic interventions to support positive and successful client outcomes. The Clinical Specialist I also provides on-call crisis response services, maintaining 24/7 availability as required.
Education and training requirements
Masters' Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. Requires knowledge of an advanced type.
EXPERIENCE • Over two years, up to and including four years. • Other (Specify)
Certified in Substance Abuse Counseling preferred. Two years of experience providing domestic violence services required.
Special knowledge, skills, and abilities required
Good verbal and written skill in therapeutic assessment and treatment, interviewing, recording and letter writing.
