The Registered Nurse coordinates and performs direct nursing care for patients in an Urgent Aid setting, collaborating with physicians to design and evaluate care plans. They also serve as a mentor and leader for peers while ensuring the efficient daily operation of the department.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school (ADN) with a current Illinois RN license and at least one year of Emergency Department or Med/Surg experience. Active BLS certification is required, with ACLS and PALS certifications required within one to two years of hire.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
